Zack T. Helmers----26, Kenmare, ND, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from injuries sustained in a work-related incident near Carpio, ND.  Zack Taylor Helmers was born on April 12, 1994, a son of Todd and Eileen (Moen) Helmers in Minot, ND. He was raised and educated in Kenmare, graduating from Kenmare High School in 2013. He furthered his education by attending Lynnes Welding program, where he earned a certificate in Welding.  Following his education, Zack worked for the mines near Beulah, ND, where he worked in all capacities. He later worked for Hamm’s Oilfield Service, The Melin Brothers Farms, Equipment Pickers and for close to four years the North Dakota Department of Transportation as a Tech 2.  On June 29, 2018, Zack was united in marriage to Necey (Mogren) Holter in Kenmare. They made their home in Kenmare, where together they had a daughter Gloria, and he also loved the boys as his own.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and enjoying time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Zack is survived by: Wife Necey; children Gloria, Gage and Brickston; parents Eileen and Gerry Helmers; brother Blair (girlfriend Kasie Evanger) Helmers and their daughter Teagen; several aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws also survive.  Zack was preceded in death by his father Todd Helmers, maternal grandparents Mert and Gloria Moen, and Paternal grandparents Lyle and Margie Helmers.  Visitation:  There will be no reviewal as cremation has taken place, however, friends may sign a guest register Saturday one hour prior to the service.  Memorial Service: Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11 am at Tasker’s Coulee, rural Kenmare, ND. Those attending the service are asked to bring a chair if you desire, and to carpool, as parking is limited.
