She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Pearl Schenk.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jenene was born August 13, 1952, in Nampa, Idaho, but grew up in Oregon and Missouri before eventually moving back to Idaho where she became a long-term resident of Idaho Falls.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was active in track during her high school years. She enjoyed volleyball, ping-pong, tetherball, and became an avid reader all her life. She had a particular love for animals, especially her cat, Willow. Jenene studied Nursing and achieved her dream of earning her LPN, and during her career, worked at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah, Zion&rsquo;s Care Center, Valley Care Nursing Home, and Life Care Center in Idaho Falls. Her career was marked by a sterling reputation as a loving, faithful, and devoted healthcare provider and companion whose devotion to her patients grew to be a hallmark of her tireless efforts. Her positive attitude was always a source of respect among her fellow workers.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jenene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her experience lent itself to serving as a teacher to young children and Cub Scouts in the Primary Organization.&nbsp; She was a devoted mother to her surviving children, Michelle (Tom) Smith, Cameron (Alexis Clayborn) Schenk, and Lisa Eggleston; and a cherished grandmother to Kimberley, Daniel, Sakari, and Penelope. She is also survived by her five sisters and five brothers.</p> <p>Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.</p>

Obituary

Jenene Eggleston passed away September 22, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Pearl Schenk. 

Jenene was born August 13, 1952, in Nampa, Idaho, but grew up in Oregon and Missouri before eventually moving back to Idaho where she became a long-term resident of Idaho Falls.
