Ahakila “Happy” Marie Bear Nose was born on October 30, 1992 in Rapid City, SD to Michael Bringman and Jerrolyn Running Shield. Ahakila made her journey to the Spirit World on September 22, 2020 in Minneapolis, MN. Ahakila is survived by her children, Dyeanna Gallegos and Andres Gallegos, Jr.; mother, Jerrolyn Running Shield; father, Michael Bringman; siblings, Allison Bear Nose, Jenna Black Bear, Jade Running Shield, and Tina Bear Nose; nieces & nephews, Alvaro Aleman, Jr. and Arrailee Black Bear; grandfather, John Bringman; uncle, Robert Rattling Chase; and aunt, Cindy White Thunder. Ahakila was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marie White Thunder and Joseph Bear Nose; uncles, Elton Black Feather and Ron Black Feather; and aunt, Lisa Pecoraro. Pallbearers will be Stanley Bear Nose, John May, Jamie May, Geoffrey Black Feather, Wanikiya Beare Nose, Norman Bear Nose, Aiden Bringman, and Marty White Thunder.
