<p>Funeral services for Jimmy Bouldin, 75, of Lubbock, TX will be held at 2:00 PM, Sat., Sept. 26, 2020 in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Wayne Kinman officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in the Portales Cemetery with Billy Holmes, Bobby Tanner, David Tanner, Shaun Miller and Bobby Borden serving as pallbearers.</p> <p>Jimmy Frank Bouldin was born Mar. 31, 1945 in Las Animas, CO to the home of Mary Opal (Noland) and Trice Bouldin, and died at his home in Lubbock, on Sept. 20, 2020.&nbsp; Jimmy grew up in Portales, and graduated from Portales High School in 1963.&nbsp; He went on to earn a BS degree from Eastern New Mexico University.&nbsp; After graduating from college, Jimmy enlisted in the U S Army in 1968, and was accepted to Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning, GA.&nbsp; He served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne division, serving with the Medical Corps helping to transfer wounded to helicopters for evacuation.&nbsp; He had lived in Lubbock since 1973.&nbsp; For approximately 15 years he was employed with Ben E. Keith Food Services.&nbsp; For the past several years he has been associated with AFLAC, where he had become the District Manager.&nbsp; Jimmy enjoyed bowling and playing golf.</p> <p>He is survived by a son, Ryder Bouldin of San Antonio, TX; two granddaughters, Brittney Miller and Cheyenne Miller; two sisters, Virginia Gore of Clovis, and Melba Brown of Lexington, NE; a brother, Donnie Bouldin of Dora, NM; and two sisters-in-law, Charlene and Donis Bouldin.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Pete Bouldin and Tommy Bouldin, a sister, Patricia Bouldin, a great-grandchild, Chandler Babb; and a son, Ryan Bouldin.</p>
