<p>It is with great sadness that the family of Harvey Crosbie Partridge announces his passing on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.</p> <p>Harvey will be lovingly remembered for many things including his humour, strength, work ethic and love and care for his family members. He was young at heart and had a love of fun. He enjoyed playing hockey as a goalie for years, breaking and riding horses, going to Rodeos, spending time in the outdoors, riding dirt bikes and travelling around the world.</p> <p>He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the (F) Squadron in Grostenquin, France and had incredible experiences there that informed the rest of his life. Harvey moved to the Elk Valley area in 1975 to provide a better life for his family. He worked for the mines in Sparwood and obtained his ticket as a boilerman and others in First Aid for Mine Rescue. It is fair to say that Harvey was a caring and kind man, but was strong in his convictions and would stand his ground to anyone, at any time.</p> <p>Family was very important to Harvey, he was loyal, caring, protective and generous with them. He is predeceased by his wife Norma Jean Bradley and his daughter Jacquie Boreen (nee Partridge). These were two of the biggest losses in his life. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Draycott (nee Partridge), his son-in-law David Boreen, his five grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney, Michael, Hayden and Logan, seven great grandchildren, and another little boy on the way, who will be honoured in his name.</p>
