Theresa Ellen Marquez, died peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the age of 64. She leaves behind her husband, John W. Marquez; her son John J. Marquez; and her granddaughters Ramona and Grace. She was born on November 7, 1955 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Theresa graduated from Pueblo East High School and briefly attended the University of Colorado Boulder before marrying her high school sweetheart, John Marquez in 1976. While a Colorado Native, she moved across the country with her husband and son from Florida to, Texas to, Minnesota during his tenure at IBM; until they finally decided to move back to their home state of Colorado in the City of Arvada. And soon after, Theresa began working for Leprino Foods and where she remained a dedicated employee for 21 years until her retirement in 2019. She is survived by her husband, son and grandchildren, as well as her siblings Mary Lou, Art, John David, Sammy, Daniel, and Loretta. She is preceded in death by her parents Katherine and Salvador Armendariz and her brother Robert. Theresa will be interred at the family plot in Arvada Cemetery.
