Mrs. Eva Lorraine White, 74, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital. She was born on Saturday, May 11, 1946 to Joe Nicholson and Verda Nicholson. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her first husband, J. C. Waites; father, Joe Nicholson; mother, Verda Nicholson; two sons, James F. Waites, Jason Waites; brother, J. V. Nicholson; three sisters, Pearl McCarty, Diane Waites, Teresa Nevinger. She is survived by her husband, Don White, Waynesboro, MS, son, Jeff Waites (Sherry), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Jeannie Whisenhunt (David), Wayne County, MS; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. White will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2020  at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Porter Foley officiating. Interment will be in Hollis Creek Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Pallbearers are Allen Whisenhunt, Tommy Bishop, Brandon Waites, Cory Jackson, Dalton Waites, Adam Waites, Robert McCarty, Clayton Van Orden.
