Henry M. Trim, Jr. passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Promise Hospital in Vicksburg, MS.  He was 73.

Henry was born in Port Gibson, MS on December 13, 1946, the son of Henry M. Trim, Sr. and Emma Louise Monk Trim.  Henry loved to hunt and fish, but his true passion was selling watermelons and sweet potatoes.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Ricky Trim and his brothers Jerry Trim and Wayne Trim.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Dorothy Trim; sisters Dorothy Landrum (Elton) of Laurel, MS, Joyce Marie Charrier of Sheridan, AR, Ida Perkins (James) of Vicksburg, MS and Jean Williams of Foxworth, MS; grandchildren Zack Trim and Nathan Trim.  

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September, 24, 2020 at Glenwood Funeral Home of Port Gibson with Rev. Cliff Nelson officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow in Hermanville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Hunt, Mike Hunt, David Trim, Steve Trim, Cole Trim and Jimmy Emerson.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Perkins, Tim Hunt, Charles Nichols, Brian Eggleston, Abe Gines and Bo Trim.
