Vivian Hendrickson, 88, of Republic, MO, went home to be with her Lord on September 21, 2020. She was born July 06, 1932 in Halltown, MO to Orville and Rhoda (Helton) Johnson. Vivian was the first born child of 10 children in the home. Vivian married Robert “Bob” Hendrickson and they spent 51 wonderful years together, until his passing in 2013. Vivian and Bob shared 8 children together, Harold, Gary, Ronald, Bobby, Leroy, Larry, Karran and Sherlyn. She was an amazing quilter and knitter. She could upholster anything, seamlessly without a single wrinkle. Vivian worked as a waitress in various restaurants in the surrounding area. She loved to play dominos and UNO, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Vivian was a longtime member (1983) of Calvary Baptist Church in Republic. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives had been touched by hers. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 51 years, Bob, sons; Bobby, Leroy and Larry, siblings; Shirley, Patricia, Orvalyn, Mary, Marilyn, Carolyn and Larry. Left to mourn her passing are her children; Harold and wife Linda Nickel, Gary Hendrickson, Ronald and wife Lynda Hendrickson, Karran Buffington and Sherlyn “Sue” and husband Gerald Price, siblings; Alice Rodgers and Ralph Johnson, 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and countless friends.
