Michele Lillian Holmes

  Michele Lillian Holmes age 52, a native of Cadillac, Michigan and a longtime resident of the St. Martin community, passed away on September 19, 2020 at her home in Biloxi.

  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Rebeca Manni; her father, Gordon Charles Manni; one half- brother and two half- sisters.

  Michele is survived by her loving husband of almost 20 years, Warren Holmes; her two children she loved and adored Gordon Edward Manni and Diamond Ruby Holmes; her siblings, Edward J. Manni, and his wife Becky; and Gordon C Manni and his companion Louise Appelhans;  a host of friends, relatives and last but certainly not least, her numerous pets that she took in and cared for on a regular basis.  Not only was she a wonderful mother to her own children, but she was mother to all of her pets as well.  She will be dearly missed by all.

  She loved scrapbooking, art, music and reading.  Her greatest joy was being a mother.  Her husband Warren says, “It was purely by accident, I chose the greatest mother my children could have ever had.  She was so proud of our children, as am I.  They both have her beautiful heart.  We will all Miss Michele, I will miss her until I see her again”.

  A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service in the chapel.  Interment will follow for immediate family only at Biloxi National Cemetery.
