Melanie Roxanne Trider
Trider, Melanie Roxanne With her children and soulmate by her side, the peaceful passing of Melanie (Dunphy) Trider of Keswick, NB, occurred on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 8, 1962 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Fred Dunphy (Betty) and Janet Burns (Marven). Melanie is survived by daughters Krista Dunphy and Kendra Dunphy (Warren Condie); son Jesse Dunphy and their father, and her lifelong soul mate Gary Claybourn; son Devon Trider (Mya Soderman) and his father Ken Trider; brother Brent Dunphy; sister Cindy Gardner (Mark Currie); grandchildren Terrell, Brooklyn, Kyeren, Aiden and Jackson; her niece Breanne Dunphy; nephews Jeremy Wynia (Kara) and Joel Gardner and many other loved ones. Melanie had a beautiful soul. She was an extraordinarily strong, positive, loving woman, who selflessly devoted herself to anyone in need. She was an inspiration to all who met her. Melanie enjoyed exploring her artistic abilities and loved spending time with her family; especially while hosting and cooking big meals for family gatherings, which will never be the same without her. You fought long and hard mom. You didn’t lose your battle with cancer, your soul just decided that it was ready for bigger and better things. You will be deeply and forever missed. Melanie’s faith in the Lord was strong and had many loved Verses from the Bible. One of her favorites was, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 Due to the current health situation, a Funeral Service by invitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. I was lucky to work with Melanie when she was at Bird-Stairs. She always had a smile. When she moved to Costco, she would always ask on how some of her former co-workers were doing. She was a great person!
