Joseph Lucien Robert "Bob" Robinson Obituary

Robinson, Joseph Lucien Robert “Bob”

September 2, 1956 ~ September 18, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing Bob Robinson on Friday, September 18, 2020, in Ashcroft at the age of 64 years.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Jan, his mother Lorraine (Joe) Brunet, children Shawn (Crystal), Josh, Brian (Katie), Sandy (Kim) Marvin, and Naomi (Albert) Marvin as well as his grandchildren Angel, Shelby, Quintin, Jacob, Melia, Haylee, Tyler, Creston, Andrea, Sydnie and Corryna as well as his great-grandchildren Beau, Blake & Luke. He is also survived by his brothers Randy (Lisa), Ricky (Josephine), and nephews Ryan and Brandon and Niece Hailey.

He was predeceased by his first wife Mary Robinson (nee Jackson) and father Roger Robinson.

Bob liked to keep busy and was always doing things in the community. He was a past chief of both the Loon Lake and Cache Creek Fire Departments, past president of the Loon Lake Community Recreation Association, an active soccer coach, and continually volunteering with local community events. He loved working with wood and old cars, was an avid fisherman.

He was a quiet man with a wonderful sense of humour, and was by nature very organized in all things.

No formal services will be held.

Donations in Bob’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
