<p>Lonnie Michael Lyke, 72, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO.</p> <p>Lonnie&rsquo;s wishes were to be cremated and his memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Schriver&rsquo;s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th&nbsp;Avenue NW, Aberdeen.&nbsp;&nbsp;Pastor Gary Wileman of First Assembly of God will officiate.</p> <p>Burial will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Aberdeen.</p> <p>A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the burial at Schriver&rsquo;s Memorial Fellowship Center.</p> <p>Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.</p> <p>Family and friends may sign Lonnie&rsquo;s online guestbook and view his service via the live stream service link at&nbsp;www.schriversmemorial.com.</p> <p>Lon Michael Lyke was born on June 19, 1948, in Watertown, SD to Robert James and Myrtis Mary (Urdahl) Lyke.&nbsp;&nbsp;He graduated from Wagner High School and Northern State College with a Business Degree.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Lon was united in marriage to Jeanne Reisenweber.&nbsp;&nbsp;The couple lived in various locations over the years, including Aberdeen, California, Clark, Colorado and Sioux Falls.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lon made his living in sales and was a great salesman of everything from real estate to Steak-umms.&nbsp;&nbsp;He also owned Cars-U-Lyke and Smog dog.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you met Lon, you would always remember him.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was truly a people person, making new friends wherever he went.&nbsp;</p> <p>Lon was an amazing athlete.&nbsp;&nbsp;From high school football to waterskiing on the lake, his talent was evident.&nbsp;&nbsp;In his spare time, Lon enjoyed hunting and going to rummage sales.&nbsp;&nbsp;Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lon was a devoted father, grandfather, husband and brother.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was especially proud of his grandkids.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Lon is survived by his three sons:&nbsp;&nbsp;Ryann Lyke, Justin (Missy) Lyke, and Kelly (Krista) Lyke; three grandchildren:&nbsp;&nbsp;Kady, Karter, and Isaac; and his siblings:&nbsp;&nbsp;Lynn Ritter, Larry (Ina) Lyke, Cindy Vornhagen, Bob (Brenda) Lyke, Sue (Les) Walker, Pam (Tom) Schoenfelder and Mary (Joe) Kaven.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Lon was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne; his parents, Robert and Myrtis Lyke; his brother, Dennis Lyke; his brother-in-law, Ralph Vornhagen; and his grandson, Austin Lyke.</p> <hr /> <p><iframe allow="fullscreen;" height="360" src="https://vcloud.blueframetech.com/broadcast/embed/196808?autoplay=1" style="border:0;overflow:hidden;" width="640"></iframe></p>

Lonnie Michael Lyke, 72, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO.

Lonnie’s wishes were to be cremated and his memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen.  Pastor Gary Wileman of First Assembly of God will officiate.
