Gerald L (Jerry) McComas, 83, passed away on September 12, 2020 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on February 23, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Leslie and Lucille (Christian) McComas. 

Jerry graduated from Greenhills High School in 1955. He served three years in the US Army and started his Civil Service career in April 1963 at Point Mugu, California. Jerry married his wife Patricia A (Patty) on January 26, 1985 on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. In July 1987, he started at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Jerry retired from Civil Service in March of 1998. Patty and Jerry resided in Alamogordo.

Jerry enjoyed the many road trips he and his wife Patty took in the U.S. of A.

Jerry has requested cremation with no services.

The McComas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the cremation.
