Private, graveside services will be held in the Southwest Louisiana State Veterans Cemetery in Jennings for Virginia Rivera Leblanc, who passed away on September 21, 2020. She was 91 years old. 
Virginia was survived by her daughter, Jeanette Wenzel and her husband Sam Sr. of Carencro; son, Michael Leblanc and his wife Rachael of Lafayette; grandson, Brett Michael Rodrigue; and two sisters, Vilma Hortas and her husband Johnny of Las Vegas, Nev. and Mary Munoz of Puerto Rico.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Rivera and Luisa Rodriguez, her step-father, Albert Homs; three sisters, Lydia, Daisy; and Alya; and two brothers, Guilbert and Guido. 
Ask anyone and they would tell you that Virginia was as sweet as they come. A native of Puerto Rico, Virginia came to the United States at 18 years of age. She loved socializing with her friends, listening to music, and dancing. She was a loving mother, and treated her pups Happy and Spanky like children, spoiling them rotten. She would never miss a party and loved the culture of South Louisiana with our festivals, music and food. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
