<p>Private, graveside services will be held in the Southwest Louisiana State Veterans Cemetery in Jennings for Virginia Rivera&nbsp;Leblanc, who passed away on September 21, 2020. She was 91 years old.&nbsp;<br /> Virginia was survived by her daughter, Jeanette Wenzel and her husband Sam Sr. of Carencro; son, Michael Leblanc and his wife Rachael of Lafayette; grandson, Brett Michael Rodrigue; and two sisters, Vilma Hortas and her husband Johnny of Las Vegas, Nev. and Mary Munoz of Puerto Rico.<br /> She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Rivera and Luisa Rodriguez, her step-father, Albert Homs; three&nbsp;sisters, Lydia, Daisy; and Alya;&nbsp;and two brothers, Guilbert and Guido.&nbsp;<br /> Ask anyone and they would tell you that Virginia was as sweet as they come. A native of Puerto Rico, Virginia came to the United States at 18 years of age. She loved socializing with her friends, listening to music, and dancing. She was a loving mother, and treated her pups Happy and Spanky like children, spoiling&nbsp;them rotten. She would never miss a party and loved the culture of South Louisiana with our festivals, music and food.
