<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Raymond Lee &ldquo;Super&rdquo; Stoakes, age 76, of Tabiona, Utah, died on September 20, 2020, at Provo Assisted Living in Provo, Utah.<br /> Raymond was born on June 8, 1944, in Berlington, Iowa, and was raised by Harold Lee and Charlott Esther Allen Stoakes.<br /> Raymond graduated from North Tama County Community School in Traer, Iowa, in 1962.&nbsp; During his senior year he qualified for the state wrestling tournament. He enjoyed riding horses and rodeos, and was a member of several horse riding clubs. He was a truck driver and a &ldquo;cowboy of the Utah sky.&rdquo; In Tabiona, Utah, he found great joy being in the saddle while herding cattle for Max &amp; VaLona Fabrizio.<br /> Raymond is survived by his daughters, Misty Stoakes, Sandy, UT; Shawna Stoakes, Brooklyn, IA; and Dawn Stoakes, Chelsea, IA; sister, Jeanne Stoakes, Oxford, IA; and friends, Max &amp; VaLona Fabrizio, Tabiona, UT; and Dan Robinson, Roosevelt, UT.<br /> Graveside services were held on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the Tabiona Cemetery.<br /> <br /> </p>

Raymond Lee “Super” Stoakes, age 76, of Tabiona, Utah, died on September 20, 2020, at Provo Assisted Living in Provo, Utah.
Raymond was born on June 8, 1944, in Berlington, Iowa, and was raised by Harold Lee and Charlott Esther Allen Stoakes.
Raymond graduated from North Tama County Community School in Traer, Iowa, in 1962.  During his senior year he qualified for the state wrestling tournament. He enjoyed riding horses and rodeos, and was a member of several horse riding clubs. He was a truck driver and a “cowboy of the Utah sky.” In Tabiona, Utah, he found great joy being in the saddle while herding cattle for Max & VaLona Fabrizio.

Graveside services were held on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the Tabiona Cemetery.
