Darrell Wayne Chrisman

<p>Darrell Chrisman , 76, of Mexia, passed away Sept 20 2020 at Parkview Hospital.&nbsp; He was born in the Heights, Houston, Texas.&nbsp; He attended Texas A&amp;M and University of Houston Architecture School.&nbsp; He then pursued his love of design and architecture ;&nbsp; there were several project accomplishments he took particular pride in, among them being a post office building in Houston, luxury homes on Lake Conroe, lavish estates in Houston, Huntsville, Del Rio and Waco.&nbsp; He also designed private homes in Groesbeck and on Lake Limestone.&nbsp; In recent years his passion was restoring his home in Mexia.</p> <p>He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing all major Texas golf courses with his Houston &lsquo;foursome&rsquo;.&nbsp; Darrell loved the outdoors and sitting on the back patio taking in all the land, the trees, breezes and the beauty of nature.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Mary Chrisman; and his brother, Lyndall Chrisman.&nbsp;</p> <p>Darrell is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cynthia Chrisman of Mexia;&nbsp; son, Jason Chrisman of Commerce and daughter Julie Waller of Heath; and 15 grandchildren.</p> <p>At Darrell&rsquo;s request no services will be held. In lieu of this, Darrell&rsquo;s memory could best be celebrated on the anniversary of his birth, February 2nd, by taking a moment to observe God&rsquo;s beautiful outdoors.</p>

Obituary
