Vendel Redling. Jr. 65, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born in Hungary, son of the late Vendel Redling, Sr. & Erzsebet Pary Redling. A memorial service to celebrate Vendel’s life will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe NC 28112. Inurnment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Redling is survived by his loving family including his girlfriend Anne Rhodes, son Christopher Redling, three daughters; Kimberly Redling, Kelly Redling, and Heather Redling, a brother Andy Redling, brother-in-law Stephan Sadiwnyk, grandchild, Ryan Hollaway, and several nieces and nephews. He became a United States Citizen in 1975, and grew up in New Jersey before moving to North Carolina in 1991. He was a very crafty person, loving to work with his hands, and spent most of his career in construction in many areas.
