<p>Lumberton,</p> <p>Gaye Simmons Cushing, 65, of 306 West 33rd St., passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Southeastern Medical Center.</p> <p>A graveside service will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, September 26th at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Webb officiating. A walk-through visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM, Friday, September 25th at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.</p> <p>Gaye, born December 19, 1954 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Clifton Simmons and Martha Cato (Cattie) Jones. She was a school teacher and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
