Antoinette C. Volpe Obituary

Antoinette C. Volpe, 74, of Bradley Beach, passed away on September 18, 2020. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late Salvatore and Angelina (Galante) Volpe, resided in Staten Island and Millstone Township prior to settling in Bradley Beach 20 years ago. Antoinette was ready for adventure at any time and enjoyed meeting new people.  She loved watching movies and attending Broadway plays.  Antoinette loved sunny days at the beach and trying exotic foods from around the world.  She enjoyed coaching boys Little League and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Antoinette loved writing, having a passion for poetry and short stories. Most of all, she cherished the time spent making memories with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving sons; Alexandre Gabler and his wife Theresa and Laurence-Anthony Gabler and his wife Lauren, her cherished grandchildren, Addisyn, Valentina, Charlie, and Sam, her dear brothers, Alfred Volpe and his wife Frances and Vincent Volpe and his wife Debbie, her nieces and nephews, Angela and her husband Christopher McAvoy and their children Jake, Alyssa and Lucas, Jacqueline Volpe, Michael Volpe and his wife Claire and their children Jack and Avery, Matthew and his wife Jenifer Volpe and their children James and Ryan, Alexa Volpe, Vincent and his wife Alicia and their children Vincent and Frankie and her niece Krystina Volpe.

A visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Monday September 21, 2020 from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven on Tuesday September 22, 2020 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Antoinette’s memory to Shriners Hospital for Children lovetotherescue.org or Liam’s Lighthouse Foundation for HLH liamslighthousefoundation.org.
