Joseph Eugene Ramm ,65, of Boaz, AL passed from this life on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center South. Per his request he will be cremated after a visitation that will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Mr. Ramm proudly served his country spending 13 years in the military, and has been an Eagle Scout since 1972. He retired from Smithfield Foods after 32 years of employment. Preceded in death by his father, Eugene Henry Ramm, brothers, Edward Ramm, Jerry Ramm (Kim). He is survived by his wife, Sharon Allen Ramm of Boaz, AL, mother, Kathleen Malaney Ramm of Sioux Falls, SD, daughters, Jacy Safko (Darryll) of Murfreesboro, TN, Karen Williams of Chesapeake, VA, sons, Charles Smith of Chesapeake, VA, Brandon Scott of Boaz, AL, brothers, Bruce Ramm (Deb) of Sioux Falls, SD, Rodney Ramm (Shanda Mayer) of Sioux Falls, SD, Francis Ramm (Beth) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jerry Ramm (Shelly) of Sioux falls, SD, Dave Ramm (Carol) of Sioux Falls, SD, grandchildren, Lexi Haan, AJ Haan, Marissa Haan, Rebecca Williams, Liam Williams, Brittany Williams, Mika Bleyenberg, Jayden Smith, a host of neices and nephews, his very best long time friend, Floyd Sorensen (Sharon) of Eagan, SD, and his beloved fur baby Ali. Albertville Funeral Home Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
