Audrey Eileen Brekke

AUDREY EILEEN BREKKE, age 41 of Waterville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Audrey was born in Faribault on May 8, 1979. She is the daughter of Clement A. and Linda K. (Iverson) Wagner. She grew up in Warsaw and attended school in Faribault graduating with the class of 1998. On August 10, 2002 she was married to Troy Nels Brekke at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Audrey spent many years working for Innovative Food Processing in Faribault before moving on to AmsburyTruth Hardware in Owatonna where she was currently employed. She loved spending time with her three children and attending all of their activities and events, playing cards, bowling, golfing, going on family vacations, watching the sunset, and just being outside. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir and teaching Sunday School with her husband at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morristown where she was a long-time member. Audrey is survived by her husband, Troy of Waterville; her parents, Clem and Linda Wagner of Warsaw; her children, Tyler, Katrina, and Abagail Brekke of Waterville; her sister, Darlene (Bruce) Mills of Mesa, AZ; her brother, Tony (Melissa) Wagner of Eden Prairie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; and a godparent, Jerry Iverson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morristown, with Rev. Travis Loeslie officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will follow at the Warsaw Cemetery.
