Betty Jo Geren

Betty Jo Geren, 89 of Cleveland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Big Springs Methodist Church where she actively served. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gean Thomas Geren; parents, Fred and Gladys Jones Curtis; son, Tommy Ray Geren; and sister, Janice Sue Allen. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Sandi (Tony) Wooten and Kim (Keith) Van Sickle; brother, Terry (Elaine) Curtis; grandchildren, Amanda (Justin) Brenizer, Alex Van Sickle, and Jana (Steven) Ross; and great-grandchildren, Tinley, Sophia Lunny, and Abby; and pets, Molly, Jobie, Lucy, and Charlie. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 4:00PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in the Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:00PM with Don Akins officiating. A graveside service will follow in Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
