<p>It is with deep sadness we announce the unexpected death of Therese (Wanner) Price.<br /> Therese was a dynamic, colorful, kind and complex person who loved and gave of herself fully. She was there for anyone in need, never met anyone she didn&rsquo;t like and welcomed everyone. She sought peace and she saw the best in all people.</p> <p>She was willing and eager to try anything, and succeeded at becoming a Newport fisherman (see photo), a canary breeder, and later became a noted collie breeder. None of her creatures were allowed to go into a home unless personally vetted by Therese.</p> <p>She enthusiastically lived her life and enjoyed her hobbies. Her enthusiasm and competence at all types of games, cooking, entertaining, camping, sailing and gardening. was legendary and envied by many. She excelled in so many areas of her life, especially at card games and organizing things and people.</p> <p>We greatly miss her infectious laugh and kind spirit and know that she will be looking over us, counting our cards. Therese&rsquo;s presence in our lives has made each of us better people.</p> <p>She leaves her husband Steve, sons Nick (Dana) and Connor, sisters Victoria Bird (Charlie) and Christine Carley (Phil), brothers John (Heidi), Matthew (Colleen), James, and Christopher (Kezia) as well as many nieces, and nephews AND great-nieces/great-nephews. All are devastated by her loss.</p> <p>A memorial service is planned on September 22nd in the field below her home. Masks and social distancing will be required.</p>

It is with deep sadness we announce the unexpected death of Therese (Wanner) Price.
Therese was a dynamic, colorful, kind and complex person who loved and gave of herself fully. She was there for anyone in need, never met anyone she didn’t like and welcomed everyone. She sought peace and she saw the best in all people.

She was willing and eager to try anything, and succeeded at becoming a Newport fisherman (see photo), a canary breeder, and later became a noted collie breeder. None of her creatures were allowed to go into a home unless personally vetted by Therese.

She enthusiastically lived her life and enjoyed her hobbies.
