James Harold Ferguson
<p>James Harold Ferguson, 72, of Piedmont, MO, entered into Heaven, Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at his residence. He was born in Poplar Bluff, September 20, 1947, to parents Calvin and Jean (Bennett) Ferguson.</p> <p>James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was united in marriage to Kathy Ayers from 1970 until her passing in 2000. He married Holly Morris in 2014. James grew up in Poplar Bluff and was a man of integrity. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Harvest Baptist Church. James worked in Tennessee and Colorado for Schwan’s as Division Manager for over thirty years. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved horses and riding horses. James was a true cowboy known for his kindness. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents.</p> <p>James is survived by his loving wife; children: Chris Ferguson and wife Melissa, Scott Ferguson and wife Nema, Becky Dumont and husband Don, all of Piedmont, Julie Thomas and husband Kyle of Buffalo, MO; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brothers: Jim Ferguson of Poplar Bluff, Norman Ferguson of Bowling Green, KY, Randy Ferguson of Piedmont. James will be missed by his family and friends.</p> <p>Visitation was held at 12:00 pm, Friday, September 18, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Pete Ruble ministered to the family. Scott Ferguson, Kyle Thomas, Brandon Ferguson, Catcher Ferguson, Charles Adams, and Bruce Andeis served as pallbearers. Burial was in Meador-Flatwoods Cemetery, Piedmont.
