<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Albert Taylor Roberson, 91, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Born November 27, 1928 in Brewersville, he was the son of the late Luther and Elma (Pool) Roberson. He married Helen Crumpton on May 26, 1963 in Vernon; she preceded him in death on February 21, 2015.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Albert worked as a fuel systems technician for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus for 53 years retiring in 2010. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in North Vernon. He enjoyed taking walks and animals.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Survivors include his daughter, Marsha Ritz of Seymour; son, Don Roberson of Florida; step-daughters, Cathy Storms of Greenwood, Theresa (Bart) Chafin of Noblesville, and Cathy (Jim) Mail of South Carolina; brother, John (Jane) Roberson of Vernon; grandchildren, Taylor Ritz of Goshen, Evan Ritz&nbsp;of North Vernon, Alex Ritz&nbsp;and Jacob Roberson, both&nbsp;of Seymour, Tammy Wynn, Michelle Storms, and April Storms, all of Indianapolis, Casey (Jason) Kavanaugh of Noblesville and Colby Chafin of Fishers; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; brothers, Robert, Wayne, and Tom &ldquo;Zeke&rdquo; Roberson; and sisters, Mary Proctor, Alice Coombs, Edna Roberson, Dorothy Bowerly and Luzerna Hutchins.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>A funeral service for Albert will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp &amp; Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later date in the Vernon Cemetery.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Donor&rsquo;s Choice.</strong></span></p>

Albert Taylor Roberson, 91, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
