Ruth Lee Gilmore

Ruth Lee Gilmore, 93, Republic, MO, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. She was born on Monday, March 28, 1927 in Omaha, Arkansas to Joseph and Ethel (Kilgore) Coker. Ruth was the third of twelve children in her family. She married Gene Gilmore on October 17, 1947. Ruth worked at Woods Garment for many years. She was baptized in June of 1965 at First Baptist Church. Gene and Ruth loved to take long drives in the country together, she loved Arkansas, but most of all she loved her family. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 60 years, Gene, and siblings; Helen Huston, Hazel Cartwright, Goldie Williams, Imogene Wolfe, Wanda Taylor, Robert Coker, Troy Coker, Billy Coker and Homer Coker. Left to mourn her passing are two brothers, Howard and wife Delilah Coker and Larry and wife JoAnn Coker, both of Republic, Missouri, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. A Graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Delaware Cemetery under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home and Pastor Lee Miller officiating.
