<p>Karina passed away peacefully at the age of 42 on September 15, 2020 at her home in Woodbury, MN. She was surrounded with love from her family.&nbsp;</p> <p>She is dearly missed by her husband, Bryan Herr and their children,&nbsp;Henry, Antonio, Aidan, and Gabriella; her mother, Joleen SanCartier Pederson (Gerard); her father, Allan Pederson (Barb); her brother and sister, Nathan (Angela) and Juliana (Nathan) Pederson; her nieces, Katelyn and Kendall Pederson; and her grandmother, Shirley SanCartier. Karina is also loved by her aunts and uncles, many cousins, and many friends, including long time family friends.</p> <p>Karina is preceded in death by her loved grandparents, Alder and Lolly Pederson, and James SanCartier.</p> <p>Karina was born in Pereira, Colombia and grew up in Cottage Grove and Scandia, MN. She graduated from Forest Lake High School. After two years of college, she worked in the retail fashion business for several years.</p> <p>All are welcome to a Celebration of Karina&#39;s Life on Saturday, September 26th, beginning at 4 pm with fireworks at 7:30pm. It will take place at Bryan and Karina&#39;s home, 8206 Lori Lane, Woodbury, 55125, and in their cul-du-sac, allowing people to spread out. The celebration will include some of her favorite things: a campfire in their&nbsp;backyard, her favorite music from past and present, fireworks, and her family and friends. There is no itinerary, so feel free to come and leave as you are able.</p> <p>Please remain conscious of everyone&#39;s health and especially for Karina&#39;s beloved family and friends who are at a high risk for illness, by following the COVID-19 virus guidelines as much as possible. Disinfecting spray, wipes, and hand sanitizers will be present for your use.&nbsp;</p>
