Agnes Fortner Tipton, 89, of Holly Pond passed away on September 15, 2020.  She was born December 9, 1930, in Cullman County, to John W. and Ada Cochran Fortner.

Mrs. Tipton was a member of Brooklyn Presbyterian Church.

Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Ada Cochran Fortner; her husband, Ray Tipton; two brothers, Johnny Fortner and Millard Fortner; four sisters, Betty Simms, Valera Gibson, Lola Preston, and Rachel Henry.

She is survived by her son; Timothy Ray Tipton.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2020,at Brooklyn Cemetery with Chris Washburn officiating.
