Thomas "Tom" Edward Leohr

<p>Thomas Edward Leohr, 73, of Spencer passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospice House. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 9, 1946 to Woodrow and Grace (White) Leohr.</p> <p>Tom graduated from Patricksburg High School class of 1964. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Tom married Nancy Paris on November 28, 1969 in the Gosport Christian Church. He retired from General Electric in Bloomington. Tom served as president for the&nbsp; Owen Valley Recreation League and was a coach for baseball, softball and basketball. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family.</p> <p>Tom is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Leohr of Spencer, IN; daughter, Tracy Ammon (Michelle Bishop) of DeMotte, IN; son, Ed Leohr of Linton, IN; six grandchildren, Haley Ammon, Logan Ammon, Meranda Leohr, Cody Leohr, Elijah Leohr and Megan Milbourn; two great grandchildren, Lilyanna Milbourn and Braeden Milbourn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Goldie Alice Martin.</p> <p>A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at West &amp; Parrish &amp; Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Donnie Kelley officiating.</p> <p>The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.</p> <p>Online condolences may be shared with his family at www.westparrishpedigo.com</p>
