Milton D. Landis

Milton Dale Landis, age 88, of Hammett, Idaho went peacefully home to be with his Savior and Lord on September 16, 2020. Milton was born to Floyd and Edna Landis on August 12, 1932 in Newton, Kansas, and was the first of four children. At an early age Milton’s family moved to Idaho, where Milton helped his dad farm. Milton later met the love of his life Mavis, and they were married on June 24, 1951. Milton and Mavis spent the next 68 years raising their family and running their own farm. Milton and Mavis were very active in their church and Milton served as Deacon and Elder. Milton’s priority was always to love and provide for his family. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing when time allowed. Milton is survived by his 5 children, Tim (Melody), Ed (Amy), Steve (Pamela), Nisa (Ron), Ron (Madaline), one brother, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Mavis. Graveside services will be held at Glenn Rest Cemetery, in Glenn’s Ferry, Idaho on September 26, 2020 at 11:00 am. Services are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Boise Rescue Mission, www.boiserm.org
