Annette Vallis

It is with great sadness that the family of the late ANNETTE VALLIS of Grand Bank announces her passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence on Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 at the age of 60. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Harold of 41 years; son, Greg Vallis of Edmonton; daughter, Tesha Russell (Shane) of Brooklyn; daughter-in-law Avis of Yellowknife; mother, Ruth Strowbridge of Grand Bank; 4 grandchildren, Brooke, Joel, Katie and Luke; sisters, Ruby Fiander, Bertha Poole (Lloyd), and Judy Bartlett (Clyde); brothers, Clayton Strowbridge (Elaine), Derek Strowbridge (Kim), and Chris Strowbridge (Beverley); sisters-in-law, Eleanor May (Gilbert), Mary Dominix (Allan), Shirley Vallis, and Pearl Fiander (Stan); brothers-in-law, Ches Vallis (Dorothy), and Merrick Vallis; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.

Annette is predeceased by her father, Clayton Strowbridge; sister, Ruth Shave; parents-in-law, Cyril & Sarah Vallis; and brother-in-law, James Vallis.

The Vallis Family will accept visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Grand Bank. In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17th from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm. A maximum of 20 people at any one time permitted. Funeral Service will be held at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Grand Bank on Friday, September 18th, 2020 at 2pm.

Annette's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the U.S. Memorial Long Term Care Unit.

In Annette’s memory, donations may be made to the U.S. Memorial Health Centre, St. Lawrence or flowers gratefully accepted.
