Jack Cushman passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2020. He touched many lives with his warm and loving heart.

Jack grew up in the Los Gatos San Jose area. He met his wife Debbie of 43 years in 1975, and they married July 27, 1977 and had two sons. They raised their family in San Jose where Jack was very active in his boys lives including coaching little league and playing music with them and their friends. The family spent many happy times with friends and family in Lake Tahoe and Santa Cruz, as well as rock concerts and baseball games.

In addition to the love he had for his family and friends, Jack loved Rock & Roll and Blues music, playing his guitars, and baseball. He especially loved the San Francisco Giants.

The words of Led Zepplin speak to Jack’s character, “In the days of my youth I was told what it was to be a man now I've reached the age I've tried to do all those things the best I can.”

Jack was preceded in death by his loving parents Jack and Jan Cushman and his in laws Charles and Gwen Stimson.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Debbie Cushman; his devoted sons Jack Jr (and his wife Ashley) Cushman of Scotts Valley and Bradly Cushman of San Jose; and grandchildren Danicka Jean, Jack Maverick, and Riley Iris Cushman. Jack is also survived by his brother Bob Andruss of Washington and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly including Kari, Phil, and Casey Cushman. Jack is also survived by  numerous cousins who were a big part of his life and his best friends Billy and Dennis.

Jack’s big heart will be missed by all who knew him. “Bet you didn’t think I knew how to rock and roll, Lord, I got the boogie- woogie right down in my very soul.”

Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of Jack’s life that is being planned in Lake Tahoe for summer of 2021.
