<p>Claire Yvonne (Mills) Charles&nbsp;94, passed away on Saturday&nbsp;September 12, 2020 at&nbsp;Rhode Island Hospital from complications due to Covid-19.&nbsp; She resided in Cranston, having moved there in 1997 from Providence. She worked at the Crest Manufacturing facility in Providence until retiring in 1995. She was born in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago on January 7, 1926 to Matthew and Annie (Attong) Mills and resided there with her husband Victor N. Charles who passed away in 1993, and her two&nbsp;sons until migrating in 1981 to the United States. Claire leaves behind two&nbsp;children Victor Raymond, Terence and his wife Melenie, three&nbsp;grandchildren Ashley, Daniel and Matthew and sisters Barbara (Leung) and Jacqueline (Mills), both currently residing in Canada along with nephew Richard (Leung) as well as&nbsp;several&nbsp;cousins (Spicers) and family in her former home of Trinidad and Tobago. She was the sister of the late&nbsp;Yulan and Grace. An avid baker and homemaker, Claire was well known for her sweet treats and loved giving them away to family and friends. When not puttering around the home she loved catching up on her TV shows, Like &ldquo;Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives&rdquo;, &ldquo;Pioneer Woman&rdquo;, &ldquo;Shark Tank&rdquo; and she especially loved watching Bob Ross make magic on his canvas. Claire was an Episcopalian communicant of St. Crispin&rsquo;s Church located in Port of Spain, Trinidad. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.&nbsp; Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service beginning at 9:00am. A private burial will follow alongside her beloved Victor in&nbsp;St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
