<p>Ronda K. Allen, 58, of Columbia City, gained her Angel wings unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2020 at her home. Born September 1, 1962 in Columbia City, she was the daughter of Ronnie York and Dixie &quot;Sis&quot; (Clingerman) Nei.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Ronda grew up at Tri-Lakes and attended Columbia City Joint High School where she was involved with Cheer Block. She graduated with the Class of 1980 and moved to Florida before moving back to Columbia City in 1990. Ronda worked at the Columbia City WalMart and Passages for several years. Family meant the world to Ronda and she loved having her family around, going camping together or any type of get together. She also enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching and anything Harry Potter related.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Ronda is survived by her loving daughters, Dawn Aikey, Laycie Allen and Makayla Allen;&nbsp; fianc&eacute;, Marlin McCleary; sisters, Paula McClain and Ronnie (Todd) Horn; brother, Jeff (Julie Korpilahti) York; step-mother, Pat York; grandchildren, Janoah, Jennasey, Journey and Jovey; Marlin&#39;s children, Westley McCleary, Aylsa Babcock and Brittany Wright; and her beloved dog, Ziggy. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles &quot;Tom&quot; Lozier; and sister-in-law, Lizabeth York.</p> <p>&nbsp;<br /> A gathering of family and friends will be 11 to 12:45 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. With the current Executive Order, face masks are required for attendance. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Steve Divine officiating. With limited seating, the funeral service may also be watched live on Facebook through <a href="https://www.facebook.com/DeMoney-Grimes-Live-112045800519432"><em><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">DeMoney Grimes Live</span></strong></em></a>.
