Michael Corti, 84, passed away at his home on September 15, 2020, having battled Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus for the last 4 years. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Maria; his two children, Jackie (Tom) and Richard (Paula) and 8 grandchildren who he loved dearly – Carissa (Brad), Andrew, Brandon, Cassidy, Matthew, Elizabeth, Alexa, and Ryan. Michael was born in the Bronx, NY in November of 1935, raised his family in Dover, New Jersey and worked for 38 years for the Girl Scouts of the USA as Distribution Manager. Michael moved to Gilbert, Arizona and worked at Avnet for several years before retiring; Michael’s greatest passion was spending time with his family. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved watching golf on the weekends with his son. He will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00pm, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral home, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ 85204. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 440 E. Elliot Rd., Gilbert, AZ 95234. Interment will take place immediately following the Mass at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1562 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, AZ 85204. He will truly be missed.
