~ Life Reflections ~

“To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die…a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance…” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2; 4-5

Tyrone Burch was born on November, 22, 1962 to the late Mary Elizabeth Burch and Carnell Ford, Sr. The master saw he was growing tired and said, “come unto me” on Sunday, September 13, 2020 where he was reunited again with his wife, Pamela Wells Burch.

Tyrone was educated in the public schools of Marion County where he graduated in the class of 1981. He converted his life at an early age and joined New Mt. Zion AME Church where he served on the Junior Choir as well as the Sellers Community Choir. He later joined Mt. Olivet Baptist Church of Petersburg, VA until he relocated back home, returning to New Mt. Zion AME Church.

Tyrone served in the U.S. Army for 11 years as well as the National Guard for 4 years. He was employed with Southside Regional Medical Center for many years until his health failed. Anybody that knew Tyrone knew that he was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Wells-Burch; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Burch; and a brother, Cecil Lavon Burch.

Tyrone leaves to cherish his loving memories, his sons; Joseph Tyrone Burch, of Prince George, VA; Joshua Ramone Burch, of Richmond, VA; one grandson, Josiah Burch, of Killeen, Texas; his father, Carnell Ford, Sr, of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Fontella Burch, of Sellers, SC; Robin Ford, of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, Carnell Ford, Jr, of Philadelphia, PA; special brother, Gregory White, of Sellers, SC; special aunt, Ernestine Burns, of Sellers, SC; special nephew, Hanable Burch, of Laurinburg, NC; a host of relatives, family, and friends.

The family of Brother Tyrone Burch in consideration of the current health crisis facing our world, nation, state and local community, has decided to hold a private 50 people or less, family only, funeral service for their loved one with private interment immediately following. While the Burch family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic  health conditions. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding. Thank you for your concern and cooperation.
