Elizabeth Ann McGovern, 89, of Woolford, passed away on Sunday, September 13,2020 at her home.  She was born in Baltimore on July 8, 1931 to the late Thomas Oliver and Mary Warner Oliver. 

Elizabeth attended schools in Baltimore, graduating from Southern High School.  On April 24, 1954, she married Walter McGovern, with whom she shared 66 loving years of marriage.  Elizabeth was a homemaker, and she enjoyed fishing, birds, and gardening.  She also enjoyed sports, especially watching her favorite teams, the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband Walter; her daughter Teresa Yee and husband Edward; her son Michael McGovern and wife Lisa Paczkowski; her grandsons Brian Yee and his wife Kasha Yee, Alexander Yee, and Shane McGovern; and her great grandson Brandon Yee.

At her request there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coastal Hospice Foundation.  Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
