On Tuesday, September 8, 2020 Vianney Bourque of Grande Prairie (formerly Lac La Biche) passed away at the age of 73 years. 

Vianney is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Alma, children; Ricky (Leah), Joanne (David), Mark (Abby), Crystal (Shane), Christy (Wolle), 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brothers Joseph, Gerard, &  Marcel, sister Yvette Barrington along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Vianney was predeceased by his grandsons; Troy, Alvin, Jonah Issac,  parents; Henry & Rose Bourque, siblings; Isaac, Romeo, Oscar, Ernest, infant Vianney, Emile, Antoinette, Gertrude, Estelle, Theresa and Martha.

Pallbearers; Jason Lavallee, Moe Bourque, Aaron Bourque, Mason Johanson, Shane Providence, Jamie Bouvier.

Honorary Pallbearers; Papa’s grandchildren and Papa’s great grandchildren.

Prayer service was held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 7:00pm at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche, AB.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 11:00am at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche, AB with Fr. Aureus Manjares officiating.

Interment followed in the Lac La Biche Mission, Lac La Biche, AB.
