<p>Melvyn D. Nivison</p> <p>Beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend;</p> <p>Melvyn D. Nivison, 79, of Pelham, New Hampshire, (formerly of Oakland, Maine), passed away on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.</p> <p>He was the loving husband of Norma L. (Thing) Nivison for 54 years.</p> <p>Known for his great sense of humor, Melvyn was all about family, he loved being with his children and especially his granddaughter Sarah, his &ldquo;Sweet Pea&rdquo;. Melvyn&rsquo;s true passion was music and he fulfilled that passion both professionally and personally with a career music and entertainment. A gifted guitarist and singer, he loved to entertain and was the lead singer and guitarist for his band &ldquo;The Entertainers&rdquo;.</p> <p>Besides his wife Norma, Melvyn is survived by his daughter Margo Nivison, his son Kurt Nivison, his granddaughter Sarah, brother William Nivison, II, his bother-in-law Robert Thing and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.</p> <p>Melvyn was predeceased by his parents Emelene Nivison and his brothers Ronald and Clayton.</p> <p>In light of the Covid 19 restrictions, all services were private for the family. Beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend;

Melvyn D. Nivison, 79, of Pelham, New Hampshire, (formerly of Oakland, Maine), passed away on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.

He was the loving husband of Norma L. (Thing) Nivison for 54 years.

Known for his great sense of humor, Melvyn was all about family, he loved being with his children and especially his granddaughter Sarah, his “Sweet Pea”. Melvyn’s true passion was music and he fulfilled that passion both professionally and personally with a career music and entertainment.
