Joanne Lynn Kendel, of High River, passed away at her home on September 5, 2020 at the age of 58 years. Joanne will be dearly missed by her mother Barb Harris of High River, her two sisters, Lee Kendel of High River and Kimberley Snider of Vancouver, B.C. She was predeceased by her father Robert “Bob” Kendel in 2014, step-father John Harris in 2003, and brother Robert “Rob” Kendel in 2018. Joanne was born at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on December 10, 1961. In her working career, Jo worked at various restaurants and bars throughout Calgary. She relocated to High River where she returned to school and received her business certificate and was employed at Western Financial Insurance for a time. No services will be held. Joanne will be laid to rest at Highwood Cemetery, High River. If desired, in memory of Joanne, memorial donations may be considered to the Canadian Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.ca).
