Lenna Jean McConnell, age 79, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.  She was born on October 11, 1940, in Washington County, Va. She was a member of One Way Ministries in Damascus, Va.   Lenna was preceded in death by her father, Harry Willis McConnell; and three sisters, Arliss Barr, Barbara Barr, and Linda Hand.   She is survived by her mother, Ruby Genell Mullens McConnell; daughter, Jeanie Wilcox and husband, Tommy, of Glade Spring, Va.; grandson, Andy Wilcox and Angie of Marion, Va.; two sisters, Peggy Carter and husband, Sam, and Brenda Shore all of Damascus, Va.; three brothers: Jim Farmer and wife, Janet, of Damascus, Va.; Tommy McConnell and wife, Audrey, of Damascus, Va.; and Junior McConnell and wife, Linda, of Radford, Va.; special grand dog, Minnie Pearl; special friends, James Potter and Dexter Ramey; special nephew and niece, Ryan and Kayla Farmer; and lots of additional loving nieces and nephews.     A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
