<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>CLEVELAND - Helen Gay Prewitt, age 68, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at her home in Cleveland.&nbsp; She was born on January 15, 1952, to Walter Junior and Berda (Willard) Grantham in Cleveland, MS. &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;She was a loving outgoing lady who loved animals, collecting dolls, going anywhere the family went, coloring, and playing board games.<br /> Gay was a member of Morrison Chapel Baptist Church and attended Yale Street Baptist with her brother Narlon before his passing earlier this year.<br /> She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Berda Prewitt, twin brother, Naroln Ray Prewitt, and a sister, Connie June Prewitt.<br /> <br /> &nbsp;Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.&nbsp; Memorial Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.&nbsp; Burial of her cremains will be at the New Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Gabby Hays will officiate the services.<br /> <br /> &nbsp;She is survived by her Sister, Theresa Grantham of Cleveland, MS.&nbsp; two nephews, Billy Morse and Michael (Stace) Morse both of Cleveland, MS. Three great-nieces, Ashley Morse, Allison Morse, Heather Lishman, and one great-nephew Taylor Morse. CLEVELAND - Helen Gay Prewitt, age 68, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at her home in Cleveland.  She was born on January 15, 1952, to Walter Junior and Berda (Willard) Grantham in Cleveland, MS.  
 She was a loving outgoing lady who loved animals, collecting dolls, going anywhere the family went, coloring, and playing board games.
Gay was a member of Morrison Chapel Baptist Church and attended Yale Street Baptist with her brother Narlon before his passing earlier this year.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Berda Prewitt, twin brother, Naroln Ray Prewitt, and a sister, Connie June Prewitt.

 Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2020, at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Memorial Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial of her cremains will be at the New Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Gabby Hays will officiate the services.
