Marvin Lee Clark Sr., age 75, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his home.

Marvin was born on October 20, 1944 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Lonnie Lee Clark and Leona Jane (Scarlett) Clark.  He was united in marriage to Marsha Kaye Wilmot on May 30, 1974 in Missouri.  To this union, Marsha gained two bonus children, Marvin’s twin girls, Kimeron and Kathleen, and together the couple were blessed with four more children, Marshall, Marvin Jr., Chad and Natasha.

Marvin was a backyard mechanic for many years, and would work on anyone’s vehicle.  He was an avid collector, and was known as “Junk Man” on the CB Radio. He was also a past member of the Open Bible Church in Centerville.

Left to honor Marvin’s memory are his wife, Marsha Clark of Centerville; his children, Kimeron (Michael) Kutzke of Wisconsin, Kathleen (Steven) Kaiser of Wisconsin, Marshall Clark of Centerville, Marvin Clark Jr. of Centerville, Chad (Cristi) Clark of Centerville, and Natasha (Robert) Repp of Centerville; six sisters, Bessie Mattly of Davenport, Fairie (Charles) Buban of Brazil, Iowa, Dixie Foss of Menomonie, Wisconsin, Connie Brown of Centerville, Virginia Ontiveros of Bloomfield, and Jean Collins of New Sharon, Iowa; 17 grandchildren, Paul (Candice) Kaiser, Stefanie Kaiser, Jared (Ralph) Kaiser Steger, Holly (Matt) Clendenen, Ryan (Tara) Kaiser, Adam (Brooke) Kaiser, Stacy (Tom) Pickel, Aaron (Mallory) Kaiser, Kaliska Clark, Bailey Clark, Alexzander Clark, Melody Repp, Joel Repp, Stephen Repp, Isaac Repp, Samuel Repp, and Simon Repp; and 17 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Clark; his birth mother, Leona Scarlett Clark; his mother, Margaret Clark; his siblings, Lonnie Clark, Raymond Clark, Delores Mattly, Darlene Howell, Helen Surber, Donnie Wayne Clark, and Judy Clenin; as well as an honorary brother, Bill Foss.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Dennis Beeson officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Jones Cemetery near Plano, Iowa. A visitation will take place, Monday, September 14, 2020, at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, with the family greeting friends from 10:00AM-12:00PM.  Memorials have been established to Marsha Clark, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, C/O Clark family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.  Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com.  Due to the Covid-19 guidelines, we ask that you practice social distancing as much as possible for the visitation and the funeral. Masks are not required but may be worn while attending the services.
