On Wednesday September 9th, 2020 Froilan Soto, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 84. He was born October 5th, 1935 in Moca, Puerto Rico, to Ana Gonzalez and Rufino Soto. Froilan, or as his family and friends called him, “Flore,” was a member of the U.S.A army from 1954-1956 in Moca, Puerto Rico. Flore moved to Chicago in 1956 with wife Maria. Flore was a man of great faith, he was a loyal member of the St. Mark Catholic Church community and was someone many sought wisdom from. Flore was father to six children, Maria, Hector, Sylvia, Judy, Robert and Lissette. Grandfather too Jasmina, Tasiana, Miguel and Bianca. Great-grandfather to Kayden, Sabriela and Azariah. Flore will be missed for his endless love and warm smile. His family will think of him fondly, and hold his spirit with them spreading love where they can as he once had. Visitation for Froilan will be held on Monday, September 14th, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Funeral Service. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Thursday, September 17th, 11:00 A.M. All attendees must be present by 10:45 A.M. at the cemetery.
