Franklin Edward Underwood, Jr

1948-2020

Born in Atlanta, GA and resident of Mobile, AL died on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the age of 71. Mr. Underwood served in the United States Navy and was retired from the United States Army. He loved his animals, music, flowers and gardening. Mr. Underwood was a spiritual man and was raised in the Church of Christ. He is survived by a step-son, Paul (Sandie) Cox; brother, Donald (Donna) Underwood; sister, Kay (Benny) Ortiz; nieces, Emma Mims and Kristy (Tim Cameron) Ortiz. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 9-10 AM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by graveside services and interment in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
