Mrs. Barbara Ann Pearson

Mrs. Barbara Ann Pearson was born on May 8, 1955, in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Henry Beale and the late Mary Ann Sparkman.

At an early age, Barbara accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined New Stangers Home Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. Barbara later become a member of the St Matthews M.B. Church in Jackson, Mississippi, where she served until her death. Barbara attended Lanier High School in Jackson, Mississippi.

On the 20th of April 1974, Barbara was united in marriage to Mr. Artis M. Pearson, the love of her life. To this union, three children were born. Barbara was a Protective, passionate, and possessive mother.

Strength and dignity were her clothing, and she laughed at the time to come. She opened her mouth with wisdom and the teaching of kindness was on her tongue. Barbara's greatest love was her family. She a devoted wife and mother.

Barbara was also passionate about her love of caring for others, and she expressed and exercised her passion at the University Medical Center where she remained gainfully employed until her health began to fail.

On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, Barbara transitioned into eternal rest with her heavenly Father.

Visitation hours are Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 12-7 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home, located at 886 N. Farish Street - Jackson, Mississippi 39202

Graveside service, Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Autumn Woods Cemetery, located at 4000 W. Northside Dr - Jackson, Mississippi 39202.
