<p>Glenn Alan Reynolds, 69, of Fort Mill unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.</p> <p>Glenn was born on October 10, 1950 in Canton Ohio to the late William and Anna Reynolds. He graduated from Jackson Memorial High School (Massillon, OH) and Akron University where he was a brother of Theta Chi fraternity. &nbsp;He moved his young family to Fort Mill, SC in 1987. &nbsp;He served as a respected member of the board of trustees for 24 years at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department and was a fellow of Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Fort Mill.&nbsp; Glenn was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, foraging, gardening and cooking; he especially cherished the time spent with family doing the things he loved. He will be remembered as a loving and faithful husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him.</p> <p>In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Phyllis Pease and brothers-in-law Jamie Maullar and Joe Mayle.</p> <p>Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 48 years Betty Reynolds of the home; son, Barry Alan Reynolds of Charlotte, NC; brother, Donald Reynolds and wife Lillian of Cayce, SC; brothers-in-law, Tom Pease of Jacksonville, FL, Pat Schneider and wife Mary of Clover, SC, Steve Schneider and wife Leslie of Albuquerque, NM; sisters-in-law, Judy Maullar of Dover, OH, Sue Mayle of Horner, WV, and Sandy Flaughler and husband Joe of Mentor, OH. Also surviving are many cherished nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.</p> <p>A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 1:00 pm -4:00 pm at Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department Station 1 located at 1950 Hwy 21, Fort Mill, SC 29715.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Glenn to the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department using the Venmo app, @Glenn-Reynolds-Memorial&nbsp;or mailed to 1950 Hwy 21, Fort Mill, SC 29715; or a charity of your choice. Glenn Alan Reynolds, 69, of Fort Mill unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Glenn was born on October 10, 1950 in Canton Ohio to the late William and Anna Reynolds. He graduated from Jackson Memorial High School (Massillon, OH) and Akron University where he was a brother of Theta Chi fraternity.  He moved his young family to Fort Mill, SC in 1987.  He served as a respected member of the board of trustees for 24 years at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department and was a fellow of Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Fort Mill.  Glenn was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, foraging, gardening and cooking; he especially cherished the time spent with family doing the things he loved. He will be remembered as a loving and faithful husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Phyllis Pease and brothers-in-law Jamie Maullar and Joe Mayle.
