Mirta Ann Tapley, 65, of Chesapeake, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 surrounded by her family. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Ramiro and Adelina de la Cruz. Survivors include her beloved husband of 43 years Roy Edward Tapley, Jr.; children, Sabrina Tapley and Roy Edward Tapley, III; one granddaughter, Reya Tapley; one sister, Sylvia Syler and a brother, Joe de la Cruz. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 am, Friday September 18, 2020 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 522 High Street Portsmouth VA 23704. Interment will follow in Albert G.
